Building Psychological Resilience and Mental Health During COVID-19

Overview:

Aimed at any employee or individual keen to understand, protect and enhance their resilience and psychological health through COVID-19 and other challenges. This webinar will assist individuals to understand and practise evidence-based strategies that encourage mental health and wellbeing so that they can implement specific and practical self-care routines into their day-to-day lives. At the end of the webinar, participants will be able to:

  • Understand the three essential psychological needs all humans have, how COVID-19 threatens them and learn strategies for regaining these needs within the context of the crisis
  • Recognise other factors that contribute to positive psychological health and wellbeing
  • Reflect on their own mental health and wellbeing and establish a “pulse check” of how they are currently managing the COVID-19 crisis
  • Recognise automatic and habitual negative thinking patterns that are likely to be
    stimulated by COVID-19 and the effects they can have on wellbeing and productivity
  • Develop healthy, evidence-based strategies to improve thinking and emotional regulation and practise self-care

The facilitator will offer ongoing opportunities for interaction with and between participants via Q and A, chat functions, polls and “raise hands”.
